Grade 7 Homework

All homework (including unfinished daily class work) is due the following day.

Special assignments/projects will be posted on the day assigned with the due date. Test dates will be posted at least a week in advance. This page will be updated weekly…overnight assignments will be posted in class on the Homework Chart.

Social Studies 7	Daily reading and notes. Working on Chapter 6. Review quiz will be Thursday for sec.1-2
Social Studies 8	Chapter 17: Reading and daily notes. We will begin the review process Friday in preparation for the test on Friday next week.	Test 12/8/06
Language Arts 7	Pronoun skills. We are covering Possessive forms and compound personal pronouns. Daily worksheets exercises will be assigned for Homework. ( Ex. 28, 29, 30, 31)
Language Arts 8	We are currently working on skills related to correct use of adjectives in writing. There are daily worksheet exercises. Writing: Christmas story due Wednesday, 12/6/06.	Story 12/6/06
Vocabulary 7	Review exercises for Units 4-6. Vocabulary Workshop pages 72- 80. Exercises assigned daily.
Reading	We will be reading “Barrio Boy” in the Elements of Literature text. Comprehension and vocabulary exercises and quizzes will be given daily. Test on selection will be Friday 12/8/06	Test 12/8/06
Religion	Chapter 7. Daily reading and in class activities.
Art	Bring in cardboard objects, such as paper tubes, small boxes, etc. for the next Art Works project in December.
